Investment Manager Private Infrastructure
In this position, you will play an important role in continuing to build Partners Group's private infrastructure business into a leading global practice. As an Investment Manager in the Private Infrastructure team based in New York, your responsibilities will include:
- Further expansion and maintenance of a network of industry contacts, which will be an important means of pro-active origination of direct and secondary infrastructure investment opportunities
- Management of due diligence and execution of new investment transactions
- Presenting investment opportunities in the investment committee
- Management of portfolio investments
- Initiating and participating in calls and visits with current and prospective investment managers
- Actively contribute to marketing and fundraising efforts and existing client relationship management
- Participating in the development of the firm’s relative value analysis, as well as assessment and implementation of the regional investment strategy
- Performing various tasks related to product reporting, monitoring investments, market research, internal requests, and marketing efforts
For this challenging position, we are looking for a person who works well in a very entrepreneurial organization, someone who is a self-starter, team builder and possesses strong networking and organization skills. The successful candidate should have the following profile:
- Top academic credentials (Master/MBA), with a coursework emphasis on Business Administration, Strategy, Accounting, Finance and/or Mathematics
- 8-12 years of work experience in private infrastructure market with a leading player
- Long-term successful and proven track record of investments and realizations
- Existing network in the private infrastructure community, banks and intermediaries
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and written communication skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit and a strong desire to learn and succeed
