IMS Client Service Officer

Job Summary

1) Client Service - end to end client service and issue management / resolution

2) Account Management – service quality control and KPI management/escalation

3) Change Management – change requests, New Fund Setups, client facing projects

4) Client Reporting – including Portfolio Manager reporting

Operational Responsibilities

•           Manage Internal Service Provider relationships with the regional and global teams servicing local clients

•           Build strong working relationships with these teams, monitoring their performance and acting as the escalation point on behalf of local clients

•           Establish a robust inquiry management framework that will support multiple clients with diverse needs

•           Ensure all client inquiries are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner

•           Monitor client inquiry trends and recommend remedial actions that will improve ongoing client satisfaction

•           Establish a comprehensive MIS/KPI reporting process across all clients

•           Represent IMS in all client service reviews

•           Work with the regional Change Management and Project teams on behalf of local clients

•           Ensure reporting deliverables against agreed schedules

•           Co-ordination of all account openings, closings and transitions

•           Assisting in ad-hoc tasks

•           Effectively manage, mentor and develop staff.

Supporting Change

•           Support the implementation of the IMS Global Operating Model

•           Promote the development of a ‘best practice’ Client Service model across IMS Asia Pacific

•           Work effectively with peers across the region to achieve common goals

•           Implementing initiatives

Education and Skills

•           Proven track record in a client service environment, with a minimum 4 years client service experience

•           Excellent understanding of the Singapore investment management industry

•           Good understanding of Investment Manager Operations, particularly around processes and key deliverables

•           Knowledge of global custody is an advantage

•           Proven ability to communicate in a clear, concise and professional manner

•           Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize under pressure

•           Good understanding of State Street operations - technical, systems, policies and procedures - is an advantage

•           Previous experience in a relationship or account management role is preferred
