Investment Manager – Venture Capital Fund recruitment
Our client is a leading ventures business with a portfolio that spans a diverse range of sectors across the UK. The business consists of a group of intelligent, driven and passionate individuals who have a successful track record in exiting investments. The ventures fund invests seed, early stage and growth capital typically targeting investments from £300k to £5m. With an exciting strategy for growth over the coming years and dedicated capital to invest, there is now a requirement to recruit a bright and dynamic investment manager.
As an investment manager you will be responsible for reviewing numerous potential deals, leading the execution of investments, building relationships and working with management teams to help grow their business. You will be passionate about new ventures and understand the complexities and difficulties entrepreneurs face. You will have previously worked in a ventures business, where they will have proven deal experience with start up and small businesses. You will be numeric and have a good working knowledge of excel, in addition to being strategic in your thinking.
Suitable candidates must possess a science or engineering related degree.
