Investment Officer – Hedge Fund focused
Reporting to the CIO-External Manager Selection, and as part of a small team of highly qualified professionals focused on alternative and long oriented investment funds, you will share in the construction of a portfolio, consisting mostly of hedge funds, but also including long oriented funds, and credit related funds. In order to outperform your benchmark, you maintain regular contacts and follow-ups with fund managers and closely follow market conditions to judge the opportunities presented by the key risk and return drivers in different strategies. You actively participate in internal investment meetings and contribute to the overall team performance with new investment ideas. You enhance the infrastructure to support a database of funds and the related due-diligence documentation. Holder of a university degree in economics or equivalent, you have at least 5 years of investment experience in the analysis and selection of Hedge Funds. On top of your professional competencies you are self-driven and capable of working independently towards clearly defined objectives. You favor an open communication and your positive attitude contributes to create a constructive team spirit. Behavior characteristics like humility and discretion are key for this position. You are an excellent user of information systems and you are fluent in English and French.
