Investment Research Analyst
Our client is a multinational professional services firm specialising in providing investment research to global investment banks, institutional investors, and hedge funds. Due to rapid expansion, they are currently in need of an Equity Research Investment Analyst to join the team in HK.
You will be primarily responsible for following global industries/markets and analysing multinational companies to enable clients to make sound investment decisions. You will also independently conduct background research and document the findings and conclusions in the form of investment research reports as well as build and maintain financial models and generate forecasts as an integral part of the analysis. Writing coverage and earnings reports supported by background research will allow you to make forecasts and comment on valuations. Other duties will include building and maintaining financial models.
For this exciting new opportunity, as an ideal candidate you will be a young professional looking to build your career in international finance. You will have no less than 3 to 4 years of experience in Equity research or Economic research and have a professional degree in Business, Finance or Economics with excellent knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, as well as experience in working with Bloomberg and Reuters. Knowledge of basic economic programs will have an added advantage. Flawless written and spoken mandarin is must and a strong work ethic, with absolute attention to detail will be key to your success.
