Investment & Risk Management Professional (Manager/ Assistant Vice President) recruitment
A fantastic opportunity for a Actuarial Analyst with an interest in risk management and investments to o join a well established and successful International Insurance company has become available. Based in the Singapore office this is a role that will support the Company in driving financial reporting and business related projects.
The successful candidate will report to the Head of Investment Risk Management Department and will play a critical role in the enhancement of the corporate risk governance framework in line with forefront developments in enterprise risk management. In addition he/she will get to contribute to key areas of strategic investment management.
Job Responsibilities
- Expand on the risk management framework and strengthen the processes and capabilities for managing risks in response to the growing needs of the Company, the Group and the regulatory authorities.
- Improve on the technical qualification of risk measures using appropriate enterprise risk management techniques
- Liaise with various stakeholders and risk owners in maintaining risk management processes
- Support the Risk Management Committee and Investment Committee in carrying their risk management and investment functions
Requirements
- A Degree in Actuarial Science
- At least 3 years of working experience in life insurance
- Keen interest in Actuarial and/ or Investment and Risk Management work
- A highly motivated team player with excellent communication skills
- Excellent computing skills in MS Office
- Knowledge of actuarial modeling software such as Algo Financial Modeler, Prophet
- Experience in Life 400
