INVESTMENT RISK SPECIALIST recruitment
The successful candidate will assist in providing an independent check on the Investment Risk Process for the relevant funds under management and will aid in creating value adding research and analysis for the investment decision making process. He or she will have ample opportunity to be involved in client presentations and ad hock project work relating to the investment area.
Core Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining and developing the monthly and quarterly risk monitoring and reporting processes.
- Work closely with the investment teams in order to enhance the use of risk analysis within the investment process.
- Produce and present quarter end risk reports.
- Provide training on investment risk to members of the investment departments as required.
- Take responsibility for departmental projects.
- Provide in-depth analysis on specific issues and external presentations.
Core Skills:
- The ability to communicate effectively and professionally with people at all levels across the business is essential.
- A strong level of numerical ability accuracy is essential.
- Ability to make sound judgements.
- Strong analytical skills.
Core Requirements:
- Experience of using and maintaining Risk or Quantitative models.
- Relevant professional qualification or post graduate qualifications.
- Applicants must have experience of working within an Investment Risk role within a Financial
- Services organisation.
- A very high level of comfort with excel is essential.
