Investment Services Manager
Our client based in North Humberside are looking for an Investment Services Manager to join their team. The company is an established investments management company who have expanded the business to offer online services to customers creating an innovative platform for the self- directed investor.
Aim of the Role:
Reporting to the General Manager, the Investment Services Manager will, as first point of contact, deal with all new to Direct and existing Garrison/Fundchoice clients. This will involve dealing with telephone and written enquiries regarding investment products and services that we offer. He/she will also be able to discuss investment related inquiries regarding funds/markets etc. This will not extend to providing client specific advice.
Key areas of Responsibility:
1. Overall client relationship management with a focus on encouraging all clients to migrate onto the new platform
2. Attraction of new clients
3. Collective responsibility for administrative effectiveness of the branch
4. To remain aware of Anti-Money Laundering Rules and to assist with both compliance and awareness within the respective office at all times
Person Specification:
The job holder will have the ability to:
· Work effectively under considerable pressure
· Speak concisely, effectively and coherently to all clients, new and existing
· Ensure that all output is free of error
· Understand, appreciate and apply clear client suitability in all transactions
· Self motivate and work unsupervised
· Work within and apply a strong teamwork ethic
The job holder will have the following specific experience:
· Considerable previous experience within and knowledge of the broking and investment management industry
· Detailed experience of working within the FSAs regulatory regime
· Strong leadership experience
· Be working towards or hold the appropriate professional qualifications
