Investment Software
Our client is a very well established investment software consulting services company with a strong front to back office solution set for asset managers. They have international asset management institutions as clients and are expanding globally, so in a very strong position for further product expansion. With significant investment going into a new “next generation” product that is already well into development, the company wants to hire a Product Manager to take the lead for designing a key area of this new solution.
Key responsibilities:
- The key responsibility for this role is the product design – you will own the functional aspects of the product, working in conjunction with the technical team, balancing both functional and technical requirements in the product design. Your designing of software around user needs with a smooth and enjoyable user experience will be very important.
- There is small team project and line management of functional experts and deliverables as part of the product roadmap.
- Directing the software quality assurance process and user acceptance testing program.
- Production of functional documentation from implementation to user guides.
- Play a key role in the internationalisation of this product, so this role will provide you global exposure.
Appropriate candidates will have:
- Experience in software design from a functional user experience perspective. Your appreciation for portfolio management processes and a creative mind to bring fresh ideas to improve the user functional experience in a “next generation” cloud solution is important.
- Ability to understand and streamline flows of data in the system and overall data architecture.
- You must have worked for a software or market data company authoring software for the investment industry / financial markets.
- Ability to work proactively with limited supervision, high degree of autonomy in a co-operative team based environment.
- Very precise, accurate and detail orientated nature
