We have an excellent career opportunity for an Investment Specialist, Global Emerging Markets Equity in our Boston office. Individual will prepare a marketing plan in conjunction with the Sales Team and Emerging Markets Group Head. In addition, the candidate will manage the flow of information from the Investment Team to internal clients within the firm and external clients; and provide on-going and ad-hoc sales support.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Provide information relating the investment strategies to Sales and Client Service professionals on a regular, timely basis. In addition, ensure relevant and timely insertion into client reporting materials and to provide Investment Specialists input for RFPs and produce new business presentations.
• Write relevant market communications, research papers and ad-hoc materials that promote product process and capabilities.
• Develop and supervise a library consisting of in-depth documentation of investment philosophy and processes.
• Provide technical support on products, including databases required for process presentations and reporting.
• Participate in the development of new products to enhance firm’s range; suggest and implement changes in the current range to meet specific client requirements in order to improve consistency between client’s expectations and portfolio guidelines.
• Represent the Investment Team and product in meetings with prospective clients and at seminars at the request of the relevant Sales and Client Service professionals.

Academic Background and Experience:
• Seven – ten years of experience (specifically within Emerging Markets or Global Equity investments) and a solid knowledge of the Asset Management industry.
• Awareness and understanding of financial markets and keeping apprised of all major market developments. Displays an understanding of investment management principles and procedures as appropriate to role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Marketing coupled with excellent academic credentials.
• Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• CFA or MBA qualifications preferred.
