Investment Specialist/Relationship Manager Emerging Markets recruitment
Our client a international asset manager with £120Bln AUM is currently looking to recruit a high calibre and dynamic client services manager to support their global sales and marketing team.
1. Manage all post sales relationship management in conjunction with the sales partner, including writing up and sharing of call reports, responding to any client follow up questions and certain adhoc reporting needs.
2. Developing a strong understanding of how important the use of our Investment team time is and ensuring that this time is managed in accordance with business priorities.
3. Build and maintain relationships with all internal departments to enable quick and quality responses to new and existing client requests from the Asia, Middle East Africa Region.
4. Facilitate and coordinate all in person interaction between internal departments and our sales partners from the Asia, Middle East Africa Region should the need arise.
5. Acting as the internal voice of their sales partners from the Asia, Middle East Africa Region. This is relevant when communicating with internal parties on matters that have an effect on our distribution activities and sales teams. It is also important in endorsing client-centricity and engagement in the organization.
6. Sharing the knowledge gained from the day to day interaction with our sales partners with the Marketing Product Group and other parties, so this information can be used to produce appropriate and relevant material for our International client segments and make the organization a more client-centric place.
7. To be an ambassador for Client Centricity within the organization, making sure all internal parties who help in asset gathering activity are aware of the client impact of what they do.
Competencies
• Fluent English is essential and fluency in another language a very distinct advantage.
• An understanding of the Asia, Middle East African markets are a distinct advantage.
• Strong knowledge of the Mutual fund industry, with experience in supporting Institutional client types.
• Self-starter and ability to work independently.
• Ability to work in a team environment and coordinate within the team environment.
• Strong sales and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under time pressure and with extreme accuracy.
• The ability to travel is important.
Experience and Qualifications
• 5+ years’ experience in a client facing/marketing or sales support role, within the financial services industry.
