INVESTMENT TECHNICAL MANAGER recruitment
Description:
The successful individual will be based in our client’s Product Development team, where you will provide technical consultancy and analysis to support the development and ongoing management of our propositions. You will play a key role in supporting the International business as we launch a new mutual fund range to support the products for Singapore Dubai.
Core Responsibilities:
- Regularly review proposition offerings, monitor performance and undertake due diligence to remove poor or unpopular options from the proposition, or to identify new options to be offered to ensure our client’s customers have access to the best options.
- Assess the external environment and understand customer and advisor needs via commissioned research and management information to inform strategy and monitor success of developments.
- Establish and develop relationships with customers and internally, across all areas of the business.
- Seek out and analyse information regarding the relevant investment market, our client’s customers and pertinent industry and legislative changes. This information should be updated and maintained in order to anticipate the future market and its customer base and present appropriate strategy recommendations to the Offshore and Investment Proposition Manager.
- Provide technical input to support the development of product strategies across International. Ensure products are compliant in the countries we choose to operate.
- Provide technical input and advice for bespoke investment solutions to ensure that customer requirements are met.
- Work closely with our client and other leading fund managers to develop innovative customer solutions which will meet the company’s business objectives.
- Review process, controls and governance around the integrity of our investment proposition to ensure that all legislative requirements are met.
- Review and provide technical sign off for marketing literature and sales promotional material.
- Draft interpretation and responses to consultative papers and documents from governments or regulatory bodies.
Core Skills:
- Excellent communication skills – you will have experience of communicating at all levels, giving presentations and strong influencing ability.
- Ability to create a strong network or internal and external contacts to support the achievement of business objectives.
Core Requirements:
Essential
- Degree qualified or equivalent
- Proven track record in Product Development in Financial Services with a background in Investment.
- Previous experience of developing Investment Propositions in an Investment House or
- Product Development in a Financial Services Company.
- Proven relationship management experience at senior management level.
Desirable
- Qualified to degree level in an investment or investment-related discipline.
- IMC or CFA qualified.
- Knowledge of Asian or Middle East markets.
