INVESTMENT WRITER – Based in PARIS (France) recruitment
The Fund Research and Promotion team belongs to the Product Management department and has a key role in supporting the creation and marketing of the company’s funds.
The Investment Writer Manager will be involved in:
- Developing marketing collateral in English (product sheets, brochures, web content) for company’s funds
- Coordinating the implementation of promotion action plans with local marketing, communication and client marketing teams
The Investment Writer Manager will interact closely with the other teams within the Product Management department (Range Management, Product Development), sales teams (client marketing), investment platforms, and communication teams. He/she will work alongside competitive analysts specialised in market intelligence to better understand the competitive positioning of company’s funds.
1-Developing and implementing marketing toolkits:
The marketing toolkit includes material such as product sheets, brochures, QAs, web content etc… to strengthen the sales process.
The Investment Writer Manager will write content with the support of product specialists and fund managers.
For online marketing, The Investment Writer Manager will support the planning and implementation of global product campaigns on the web, work closely with design teams and product specialists to create content and layout and liaise with regional teams to ensure implementation at country level.
Ensure that the marketing toolkit complies with company’s guidelines (legal, compliance, branding, technical accuracy, etc.).
Verify that the marketing toolkit is available on the various systems within the company (i.e. manage document administration tools)
2-Maintain and manage company’s International website:
Use web content management tool to create and update site content; set up and follow procedures to ensure site content remains accurate and timely
Make the International website a reference in terms of product marketing for local web teams
Produce regular web statistics reports
Liaise with the Web Communications team in managing site content and share best practices with local web teams
The ideal candidate, with an academic background from a highly-ranked university or business school, will have proven investment writing skills in English. He / She will have excellent technical knowledge of investment products, and a good understanding of the asset management industry and financial markets.
This position requires strong organisational skills, a good team spirit and among others the ability to manage several projects simultaneously and to work independently, as well as the ability to identify product priorities and excellent interpersonal skills.
The candidate will have 3 to 5 years’ experience within the asset management or financial industry, with a focus on producing marketing content in English.
The candidate should be able to work in an international and multi-cultural environment.
