This is an interesting Investment Writer opportunity and a great chance to join a start up asset management venture within an existing, stable business. The role will be extremely varied and suits an entrepreneurial individual, who is driven, intellectually curious and very proactive.
The writing duties will vary and will include: thought leadership pieces, scheduled investment commentary (e.g. newsletters), as well as company and fund specific promotional material. The writing will be used for different client channels including institutions, intermediaries, end-clients and internal sales teams. Our client is looking for someone who can shape writing style to suit different communication vehicles, who can help the business manage social media initiatives and can work with investment teams to communicate the company's goals and investment process through campaigns and publications. This role would suit someone with the flexibility and interest in getting involved in wider marketing initiatives.
To apply for the role your CV must demonstrate the following:
- Previous investment writing experience within the asset management industry
- Ability to research a topic and formulate the initial idea for new topics.
- Excellent understanding of investment management products and the overall economic environment.
- Ideally educated to degree level in Communications, Economics or a similar discipline.
- Involvement within social media strategy would be advantageous.
- In addition, strong interpersonal skills, a good team player, a proven ability to work on own initiative and to multitask under pressure are essential qualities.
