Investment/Treasury Accountant recruitment
Our client is a listed firm with presence on four continents. They are seeking an experienced candidate that is looking to build their career within investment accounting.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain Treasury operations on a day-to-day basis
- Management and maintenance of investment accounting systems, processes and reporting requirements for all Group entities and third party syndicates
- Establish and review technical and regulatory investment accounting and reporting requirements for both corporate and syndicate entities including capital modelling and Solvency II requirements
- Co-ordination of internal and external reporting requirements to meet tight reporting deadlines for parent group consolidation, Lloyd’s and other regulatory returns
- Development of processes and controls including review and implementation of changes in technical accounting and Lloyd’s reporting requirements
Key requirements:
- Qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) (or international equivalent) or other relevant professional qualification (e.g. ACT)
- At least 3 ‘A’ levels (or equivalent)
- Experience within an investment / treasury function
- Detailed understanding of investment accounting and regulatory reporting requirements
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong presentation skills in reporting financial and management information
