They are looking for an Account Manager to join their growing Investor Access team, an outsourced Investor Relations team that manages tailored programmes for both UK and non-UK listed corporates.

£35-45,000 plus bonus

As Account Manager you will work closely with a portfolio of client companies, helping them raise their profile within the Investment Management community. You will be responsible for arranging events and joining the client on the road shows and investor meetings, ensuring the client is appropriately briefed ahead of the meeting. You will develop a relationship with corporate brokers, financial PR advisors and professional investors in order to build a referral network of new corporate clients. You should understand all services the company offers to have the ability to cross sell where appropriate and as the role progresses you will be involved in pitching for new business.
You will have an excellent knowledge of Financial Markets and Investor Relations, along with strong interpersonal skills as you will be spending considerable time with Head of Investor Relations or C Level Executives on client roadshows. You must be proactive in selling the client story to the Investment community and should be motivated to develop your own relationships.
You will be educated to BA/BS degree level, preferable in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics. The role would suit someone who has worked for an Investor Relations agency or in an Account Management role within Financial PR. Our client would also consider a strong business development person from a Corporate Access team from an Investment Bank.
