Investor Relations and Sales Position
This person would be focussed purely on their Emerging Markets product and would be at the forefront of all aspects of business development. This position will involve working alongside the Head of Business Development.
The role will entail:
- Relationship development across clients and stakeholders.
- Thinking pro-actively and sourcing new investment opportunities globally.
- Working with current investors and the company’s internal database, along with looking to develop additional leads.
- Supporting the Head of Business Development in all aspects.
- Planning of long term business strategies.
- Being the forefront of all business pitches and being able to speak intelligently and coherently about their suite of products.
What they are looking for:
- Strong academic background.
- A history of marketing Emerging Markets focussed funds.
- Circa 5 -10 years’ experience in a sales position within an asset management firm.
- Willingness to travel when required.
- Strong track record in business development.
- Language skills would be advantageous, but not essential.
- Excellent communication, writing, interpersonal and organisational skills.
