Typical Key Responsibilities:
The investor relations assistant will be responsible for delivering timely, efficient and high quality service. Galena currently manages six hedge funds and this is being expanded. This had led to increased work and reporting for investors. Typical tasks will include (but not limited to):
- Working with existing marketing/investor relations team to ensure that investor requests are dealt with in a timely and accurate manner
- Updating relevant marketing documents (due diligence questionnaires, presentations etc)
- Assistance with preparation of weekly and monthly investor reports
- Assistance with customised investor questionnaires
- Assistance with ad hoc due diligence requests
- Updating CRM
- Updating shareholder information
- Ad hoc projects and tasks
Experience Knowledge Skills
Essential skills
- Sound academic backgroun
- Proactivity - the ideal candidates will be required to develop the roles in order to provide the optimum level of support.
- Detail oriented, with good organisational, time management and prioritisation skills.
- A "can-do" attitude with the ability to work under pressure in a self motivated manner and to use own initiative to carry out delegated tasks with minimum supervision.
- Good written and verbal communication skills (including good telephone manner).
- Ability to develop effective relationships with senior people both internally and externally.
- Good knowledge of Excel, Work, Outlook and PowerPoint
Desirable skills
- Previous investor relations experience in a Fund environment
- Knowledge and previous use of CRM systems
- Proficiency in more than one language
