By also providing positioning and outreach support, clients are able to strengthen existing investor relationships and develop holdings among high-quality pre-qualified institutions.
Candidate
The suitable candidate will be part of the Taylor Rafferty London team. We are looking for a good thinker with common sense who is eager to learn the business. IR Associates implement effective programmes in Investor Relations and Financial Communications, targeting investment centres in North America, the UK, continental Europe, and Asia.
Responsibilities
• Advise and guide international client base to broaden investor interest
• Organize investor visits and presentations
• Daily interaction with buy and sell side community
• Advise members of (client) Senior Management
• Prepare briefing materials, financial presentations, and pitch documents
• Event planning and logistics
• Research on the financial markets
• Gather market feedback
• Edit and issue press releases
• Transmit understanding of the capital markets to various client audiences
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree (non-specific)
• Understanding of the equity markets and their impact on a company’s stock price/valuation
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Good problem-solving skills and decision-making skills
• Excellent interpersonal verbal / written communication skills
• Pro-active and self-motivated. Can-do attitude
• Confident and professional in phone communication
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office – particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Additional language fluency an advantage
