Investor Relations Coordinator
Job Description:
Position Title: Investor Relations CoordinatorLocation: Sunnyvale, CA About Business Unit:Yahoo!’s Investor Relations team manages Yahoo!’s communications and interaction with financial analysts and shareholders. Our goals are to attract, inform and retain high-quality investors, and to communicate with them proactively, transparently and consistently. Job Responsibilities:• Provide planning, organizational, and logistical support for various Investor Relations activities. • Manage multiple IR department functions including investor database, investor 800 line and other incoming email and phone calls, staff calendars and IR website.• Coordinate logistics for key events including quarterly earnings reports and other corporate announcements, investor meetings, financial conferences, annual meeting of stockholders, and investor day.• Maintain calendars, including meeting logistics, conference calls, and conference room scheduling• Assist VP of Investor Relations with department administration, including budgeting, vendor management, purchase orders, travel and expenses.Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelors Degree in finance, business or related field preferred• Minimum 5+ years of work experience, ideally in a finance or technology organization, or supporting a senior corporate leader or key corporate function• Proficiency in MS Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong Internet skillsPreferred Qualifications:• Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail• Superior written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills• Ability to take ownership of issues and work independently in a fast-paced environment within deadlines • Confidence and poise in interactions with senior leaders and their assistants • Must demonstrate strong judgment when handling sensitive confidential subject matter• Ideal candidate has a long-term interest in taking on more responsibility and growing into a more senior role in IR or other financial or operational function
