Investor Relations Director or Associate recruitment
Candidates would assist clients with positioning and messaging to investors, advise on guidance and disclosure practices, prepare companies for events such as earnings conference calls and analyst days (write script, create slides, prepare for Q;A), and work on high-profile special situations such as shareholder activism, executive changes, restructurings, and MA transactions.
Competitive candidates will likely have the following qualifications:
- Equity Analysts (Sell/Buy side) with experience covering companies and marketing (sell-side analysts)
- Investment Banking Analysts with experience in MA/IPO/Equity Capital Markets and strong modeling skills
- Consultants at Investor Relations/PR Advisory Firms
- Managing Consulting and Journalist candidates are encouraged to apply
- Undergrad or MBA in business. Good financial skills, familiarity with stock market and investor issue
- Possess a level of intellectual curiosity and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills: written and verbal
- A desire for client work and good communication abilities
- Previous financial background in investment banking or equity research preferred but not required
