Investor Relations recruitment
Responsibilities:
- Develop and review overall Investor Relations strategy;
- Develop and deliver company presentations to institutional investors;
- Communicate effectively with the investment community;
- Conduct analysis and research on industry trends and competition for benchmarking company performance;
- Coordinate executive management participation in investor relations activities;
- Actively participate in annual shareholder’s meetings and various investor conferences;
- Work with Marketing to align IR with corporate branding and messaging.
• Work closely with legal department to ensure all regulatory requirements are met regarding disclosure of financial information and other required public filings.
• Work closely with corporate accounting and financial reporting to understand key business metrics and trends.
• Develop the annual investor relations plan (i.e. Investor relations events schedule, determine public earnings release dates, schedule and participate in earnings preparation activities and investor conference calls).
• Analyze company’s financial and operating performance and present to management
• Assess impact of major transactions on investor sentiment and valuation
• Maintain financial projections
Desired Skills and Experience:
- BA in finance / accounting or relevant experience
- 7+ years of experience in investor relations
- Established Investor Relations consulting network
- Substantial financial analysis experience
- Knowledge of financial technology or financial institutions preferred
- Ability to represent the company to external constituents
- Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization and planning skills
- Fluency in reading and analyzing financial statements and communicating financial information
- Understanding of and strict adherence to the need for confidentiality
