Job Title: Real Estate – Investor Relations Business Development Analyst
Job description: In this role, candidate will be involved in supporting fundraising efforts and relationships with limited partners. The Investor Relations - Analyst will have significant interface with members of the firm’s global real estate group, legal/compliance department and other groups within the firm. The Analyst will assist with multiple projects at one time such as constructing investor presentations, assisting with investor due diligence requests, conducting market research, and supporting the fund closing process. The Analyst will be expected to understand the basic fundamentals of real estate investments, the global real estate environment, and private equity fund structures. Analyst will also be exposed to legal issues associated with fund raising and fund documents. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who would is eager to learn about real estate, would like to be actively involved with senior members of the real estate team and support fund raising activities.
Qualifications: This fund seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent, and have demonstrated exceptional attention to detail and excellence in prior endeavors. The successful candidate should possess a strong attention to detail, be able to multi-task, have superior communication skills both written and verbal, a strong work ethic, and be a self-starter with a desire to work in a team environment, often under pressure to meet demanding deadlines in a fast paced environment. Candidate must be a college graduate and have prior financial work experience. Candidate should have 2-3 years of experience. Ideal candidates would have had prior internship or work experience or exposure to real estate, real estate asset management or real estate funds but is not required.
