Position Description:
PIMCO is a global investment solutions provider with more than 1,700 dedicated professionals in 11 countries focused on a single mission: to manage risks and deliver returns for our clients. As part of that mission we develop applications for internal use to help us value securities and manage risk. We need outstanding software developers to help us deliver dynamic and timely solutions. We're looking for an iOS Application Developers to help us deliver outstanding user interfaces with diverse of technologies behind it.
Position Requirements:
Essential Qualifications
• 5+ years of OO programming experience, with 2+ years of mobile application development
• Excellent understanding of Objective-C and iPhone software design
• A history of skillful user interface and visual design
• A four-year college degree related to Computer Science
• Excellent communications skills
• Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
Value Added Skills
• Python, perhaps with Django
• Unix (we have Linux and Solaris 10)
• C# experience
• Experience in the financial industry, preferably Fixed Income
