IP Implementation Engineer Job in United Kingdom, Southern UK
IP Implementation Engineer required for work in Reading on a long rolling contract.
To provide implementation support working closely with 3rd level technical support teams on Cisco, Juniper and Redback IP devices. Hardware includes Cisco GSR12000, 7600,7200,6500, 4500, ACE, CSM, Juniper MX960, MX480, Redback SE800.
The ideal candidate must have the following skills:
5yrs experience in configuration and troubleshooting Cisco hardware Routers and Switches in a LAN WAN environment.
Familiarity and hands-on experience with the Cisco IOS /CATOS on high end GSR,OSR, VXR routers and switch platforms supporting routing/switching technologies including, MPLS, QoS, VOIP, IS-IS, OSPF, BGP.
Experience with Checkpoint
Understanding of associated TCP/IP technologies such as SMTP, DNS, SNMP, DHCP, NTP
