No Security Clearance Required about security clearance definitions Position Description Performs maintenance analyst activities for the 787 Illustrated Parts Data (IPD) group within Maintenance Engineering. Provides ongoing support for the development, creation and deployment of the 787 Illustrated Part Data Catalog in support of internal Boeing organizations and customer airline operations and maintenance. Provides maintenance solutions optimizing customer operations and maintenance through the production and quality assessment of the 787 IPD. Analysts conduct quality assessments of the IPD data, 2D and 3D illustrations, Bill of Materials (BOM) ensuring IPD BOM accuracy, customer usability, and correct parts information for 787 customer maintenance operations. Support the revision of 787 technical publications products and data. Investigates, analyzes, and proposes solutions to customer technical inquires and issues. Conducts root cause analysis and studies to correct quality defects and improve IPD process and production. Supports training on maintenance engineering tools, data, and products. Develops new 787 IPD based maintenance procedures based on design review and analysis of product support data. Researches and assesses engineering changes to determine impact on 787 maintenance operations with IPD product. Works with 787 customers, suppliers, and internal organizations to resolve complex data and process issues. Assesses the IPD product for maintenance applicability and usability through Aircraft Maintenance Manual/Fault Isolation Manual/IPD audits; and provides both onsite and on/off shift support to the customer. Some domestic and international travel required. Basic Qualifications For Consideration Do you meet the criteria described in the Typical Education / Experience section of this requisition? Typical Education/Experience Level 3 - AA degree in related discipline and typically 3 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Level 4 - AA degree in related discipline and typically 6 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Other Job related information Experience in the following areas a plus: Commercial or military aircraft maintenance experience, Air Frame and Power plant License, Boeing technical data and communication systems (Enovia, Delmia, EID, IVT, BCS). Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access). Experience with Spares Engineering, Materials Management a plus. Working in integrated process teams or cross-functional teams. Candidate will be required to support off hours customer support and on site customer support of product. Some domestic and international travel required.
