We are currently seeking a Integrated Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (IPFR) Analyst to join us on a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension.

This position is responsible for supporting the business through the transition from legacy forecasting and replenishment systems to JDA as well as supporting cut-over and training activities. This position will provide an opportunity for the successful candidate to gain exposure to multiple categories of the business and with multiple levels of stakeholders from Supply Chain Analyst through to Senior Management. It is a great learning opportunity in a path of career progression in Supply Chain.

Accountabilities:

Coaching
• Support a group of SCAs in their execution of JDA replenishment processes as they transition from legacy systems to JDA
• Relate legacy processes to JDA processes
• Communicate JDA issues and questions from the business to the project team
• Work with the project team to ensure issues and questions are addressed and communicated back to the business effectively and efficiently
• Reinforce JDA ‘best practices’ to SCAs
• Participate in coaching huddles
• Assist in identifying potential opportunities to improve training based on SCA feedback

Cut-over / training support
• Work with SCAs and the project team to ensure key JDA data is accurate prior to go-live
• Use JDA ‘best practices’ and knowledge of the business to tune JDA forecast models
• Support the change management team where required with subject matter expertise, on-site support during training and education sessions.

Functional capability development
• Work with Functional team to support design, build, test, deploy activities on specific IPFR initiatives.
• Creation of business requirements for new system enhancements or processes
• Validate designs of new processes based on supply chain, Loblaw and coaching experience.
• Assist in the review of functional specifications, technical specifications, QA testing scenarios
• Assist in QA testing as required and data validation exercises
• Assist and participate in User Acceptance Testing

Day-to-Day User support
• Assist users with system or process issues and opportunities as they arise.
• Work closely with Application Process Support IT team to resolve system issues
• Participate in activities to resolve open process or system issues with users, project team and IT
• Run various reports and queries to assist project team and user community with KPIs, regular auditing or monitoring and ad hoc requirements for troubleshooting or system and process support.

• Post-Secondary education in Business or Supply Chain is preferred
• 2+ years experience preferably within a Supply Chain environment
• SCA experience in multiple categories is an asset
• Ability to think through a problem and determine the appropriate solution based upon supply chain principles, logic and common sense
• Superior communication, interpersonal, analytical and facilitation skills
• Effective problem solving abilities
• Must be able to deal effectively with all levels of management
• JDA or Manugistics experience required
• Strong knowledge of forecasting and replenishment processes and best practices
• Knowledge of Loblaw legacy systems is an asset (Biceps, Product Manager, VMS, Bi-Query, etc.)
• SAP experience is an asset, but not required.
• Ability and willingness to travel is a requirement
