IPV Product Controller
AGS on behalf of RBS represents contract and temporary opportunities for RBS MIB (Markets and International Banking). We have an outstanding contract opportunity for an IPV Product Controller to make their mark with one of the world's largest international banking and financial services companies. In the role of an FI- Credit -IPV Product Controller, you will play an integral role in helping our client deliver market leading services that set it apart from its competitors.
To partner with the Credit Mortgage Markets (CMM) Business and provide value add support in relation to new product development and valuation. To ensure the maintenance of valuation control and governance over the trading books and records of the CMM Business and provide input and support to valuation based strategic initiatives.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:
- Qualified Accountant or by experience.
- Technical understanding including Valuation bases for Credit products; Bonds (Corporate, Financial and ABS) and Credit Derivatives
- Good Microsoft product knowledge
- Good appreciation of Investment Banking business
- First class communication skills
- Flexibility to cover other areas within the business
- Creative, practical and reliable
- Ability to break down complex problems into their core components
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Team player with the skills to help in developing the team and meet the business objectives
- A forward thinking driver who will make things happen
- Technical knowledge of Rates and Equity products
