IPV / Valuation Controller recruitment
Job Title: Valuation Controller
A leading International Investment Bank is looking to recruit an IPV specialist to work within the FX IPV Team for a minimum 6 month contract. Based in Canary Wharf, this role is suitable for someone with at least 2/3 years IPV experience and someone with a strong academic background and able to start ASAP.
Key responsibilities:
* Coordinate IPV process on a daily/monthly basis, ensuring full and accurate coverage.
* Ensure that processes are accurately followed so specific parts of the Balance Sheet for FX Options are appropriately valued with respect to current best practice and Accounting Standards
* Management and escalation of daily production issues
* Produce month end returns and commentaries as appropriate
The Requirements:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA or CA)
* University Degree / Masters Degree in a mathematically-related subject from a leading University
* A minimum of 2/3 years experience of working in an IPV role.
* CFA or CQF qualification, or studying.
* Strong product knowledge gained preferably from an Interest-Rate or FX option valuation control / product control environment.
