IPV / Valuations (Front Office) AVP, Multi Asset Class, Excellent progression recruitment

Working alongside the Head of IPV you will share a remit of IPV and Product Valuation responsibilities, in addition to working closely with the business and heads of finance on key, ad-hoc tasks focused around the growth and strategy of the business. You are to support all trading desks and should therefore expect a steep learning curve that goes hand in hand with the opportunity to quickly expand your business, market and product knowledge. As the Head of IPV is to eventually move in to a Project Management role and as the IB has sign off on a large recruitment drive for its support functions in 2013, the individual should see this as a great opportunity to quickly move from an AVP role in to a VP role in which you can head up the daily running of the IPV department.

As the individual will be working on the trading floor, owning relationships with Head Traders and Business Managers, face off to the CFO, present to Heads of Finance and the business, then it is imperative that candidates are confident, have the right personality to work in such an environment and can come on board with right level of IPV experience technical knowledge. We would ideally like a candidate that is currently an AVP in IPV / Valuations and although any product expertise is acceptable, the client would ideally look for an individual from an Equities or Commodities background (and could pay a premium for such expertise).
