IRISS European Sales Manager Job in Chelmsford CM2 6TG
Position Summary
Responsible for the overall customer commercial activity and provide the key interface between Distribution and end use
customers. This involves coordinating both the financial and logistical aspects of the sales program to support new product introductions and managing the ongoing supply chain interface between our manufacturing facility and the customer as well as developing competitive product solutions for IRISS customers.
Knowledge, Skills Experience
- Bachelors degree in business administration or engineering preferred
- Three to six years of sales and technical industry experience
- Effective verbal/written communication skills
- Technical/functional knowledge of industrial products
- Effective negotiating skills
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing preferred
Description of Responsibilities
- Manage sales / margin performance by customer, personally contacting, visiting and selling to Distributors and end use customers
- Prepare and execute plans to ensure the capitalisation on the market opportunities
- Gain an understanding of the specific markets within the European territories
- Manage and/or interface with other Account Representative(s) when needed
- Identify and pursue all targeted opportunities
- Develop measure and manage business plan and sales forecasts
- Direct Account Representatives by defining day-to-day responsibilities and long-term objectives
