Iron Ore and Coal Broker – Singapore
The successful candidate should have a solid foundational knowledge of iron ore and coal, and already have an existing list of industry contacts. This opportunity offers the individual the chance to be part of a small, successful broking team and build up the business in the Asian markets. The ideal candidate will have several years of working experience in the iron ore/coal/commodities industry, preferably with relevant trading/broking experience. Understanding of physical markets would be an added advantage.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
· Iron ore/coal broker
· Monitor market movement/trends and client positions
· Execution of trades on behalf of clients
· Foster new clients and manage existing relationships
· Current and extensive network of market contacts
· Ambitious, results-driven, and entrepreneurial spirit
· Must be fluent in both English and Mandarin as the job requires extensive work in the Chinese markets.
· Must have desire to create a business with a long term approach
· Good interpersonal skills and team player
· Must be a Singapore Citizen or PR
