IS Analyst Job in Cranston, Rhode Island US
Responsibilities
The Information Security Analyst will collaborate with other Information Security professional team members in support the RBS business divisions located in the Americas region. The Information Security team provides subject matter expertise and associated security services to the business division(s) it supports.
Key Role Deliverables:
- Demonstrate advanced understanding of business processes, internal control risk management, IT controls and related standards
- Identify and evaluate complex business and technology risks, internal controls which mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement
- Understand complex business and information technology management processes
- Facilitate use of technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design and/or implement products and services
- Understand clients' business environment and basic risk management approaches
Skills:
- Familiarity with security industry standards (ISO 17799, NIST 800 series, etc.)
- Experience with internal controls, risk assessments, business process and internal IT control testing or operational auditing.
- Demonstrated ability to write business and technical reports and to participate in presentations.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in system security, controls, or information management experience
- BA/BS in information technology, business administration, or related field preferred
- CISSP, CISM, or CISA certification a plus
- Prior Big 4 or other consulting experience desired
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Industry experiences in financial services, high-tech, and /or healthcare preferred
Hours and Work Schedule
Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
