IS Financial Analyst
A Global Energy Trading business with a proven reputation in the market require a Financial
Analyst to be dedicated specifically to their IS department. This area of the business has experienced significant growth and consequently an Analyst is required to directly support the Finance Manager with the establishment and development of the finance offering to support this division.
- Calculation of IT Opex recharge to Subsidiaries and Business Units Calculation and submission of accruals Calculation and submission of journals to Finance as required
- Regular and on demand cost centre analysis - Provision of accurate, appropriate and timely management information to IT, including variance analysis against budget and forecast data to aid in budget management and control Analysis of IT labour recharges
- Co-ordinate, review and challenge Global IT Opex budget numbers as part of the annual business planning cycle
- Liaise with Technical Finance regarding the update of finance policies
- Aid in establishing robust control framework around IT financial data, including sign off process and capex reviews; identification and implementation of further process improvements
In order to be considered the successful candidate will have proven experience of working
within/supporting an SAP IS function, demonstrating the delivery of successful change and improvement techniques through the establishment of an efficient control framework. This position will be central to the success of the IS departments strategy moving forward and so throughout there will be an emphasis placed on the accurate delivery of management information.
