IS Support Job in Truro Tr13ha, South West Uk

This organisation is looking for assistance for a 6 month period. You will be assisting users with a range of IT based queries in a helpdesk and insulation capacity. The main duties are outlined below:

• The progression of incidents and problems in line with targets and commitments held within the Service Level Agreement (SLA)
• Involved with formal projects and change requests, ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner in accordance with current standards, policies and procedures
• Creation and implementation of procedures relating to the deployment and use of Information Service solutions
• Ensure quality data exists within Information Services data sets (e.g. Configuration Management System, Call Management System, Customer database)
• Progress notifications of Information Service solutions misuse
• Co-ordinate, develop and provide feedback to allocated Information Services Officers (including trainees) as requested and appropriate to the role
• Contribute to the delivery and improvement of the service objectives
• Be aware and adhere to applicable policies and processes within Information Services (e.g. Incident Management; Change Management; Configuration Management; Procurement)
• Be aware of and adhere to all security policies and procedures relevant to the role.
• Assess, own and escalate risks where appropriate.
• Ensuring that provision of support from external suppliers is done in accordance with underpinning contracts
• Production of documentation and processes across all environment in which the role operates

You will need to have worked previously in some capacity in IT helpdesk. Due to the nature of the work you will need a full driving licence.
