ISC Rep – Material Cost Estimation

Position Description:

ISC Rep - Material Cost Estimation- Administrative/Clerical

Reports to:
Job Grade / Target Salary: Grade 28

Job Summary: The ISC Rep processes and completes requests to price Bill of Materials (BOM) for proposals. The rep must ensure that the pricing is completed according to the proposal schedule and must work closely with with the requestor to identify issues with parts and problem solve.

 

Responsibilities: The ISC rep process the BOM and identifies which line items require quotes to be obtained.  They prepare requests for quote and contact the suppliers.  The rep will be required to lookup up drawings and send to the suppliers.  They must compare prices and delivery dates proposed by suppliers and chose the best bid.  They are required to work with the program manager and maintain a status log of each proposal they are responsible for.

 

Education:  Associates degree or combination of education and 2 years experience in a related field.

 

Position Requirements:  Those aplplying for this position must have knowledge about clerical duties such as managing files and recordkeeping.  Good communication skills and grasp of mathematical concepts is preferred.  Excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task is a must.  A candidate with good Microsoft Excel experience is desired.

 

This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).  All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR.  ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
