Opportunity
MG Legal team are looking to recruit an International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) Negotiator. The candidate will be working in a small team and as such, we are looking a candidate with experience of negotiating and drafting ISDA and related agreements (eg. CSA). The candidate should also have an awareness of the impending regulatory changes to the OTC market, in particular the obligations of central clearing and associated documentation.
Key responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will include :
* Draft ISDA and related agreements (e.g. CSAs)
* Review and analyse incoming drafts prepared by counterparties.
* Negotiate provisions of agreements within defined parameters.
* Review confirmations of both vanilla and more complex transactions.
* Track status of documentation, expedite documentation process with internal clients and counterparties, and provide status information as required.
* Interact with Fund Managers, project managers, credit/risk compliance
* Assist in research and perform a wide variety of supporting legal Functions
What we are looking for
* Experience of Negotiating and Drafting ISDA and related agreements
* A knowledge of Securities Lending and Repo documentation would also be an advantage
