Position Description:
• Drafting and negotiating flow repo documentation. Obtaining capacity advice where relevant. Working with sales and marketing coverage with progress and setting priorities. Elevating issues to the desk and risk;
• Working with Ref Data, Party Attributes and T3 Mapping to reconcile repo and securities lending trade types with governing documentation in relation to balance sheet reporting requirements;
• Dealing with daily securities lending and repo documentation queries from the trading desk, sales and marketing as well as operations and collateral groups;
• Liaising with the desk to facilitate and negotiate repo triparty agreements with Euroclear, The Bank of New York Mellon, JPMorgan Chase Bank, and other custodial institutions;
• Providing general coverage for and beginning workday in line with the relevant trading desks (often 7:00 a.m. start time);
• Dealing with trading MDs and other senior members of the firm on a regular basis; and
• Soft skills: building and maintaining successful relationships with individuals and groups of varying seniority levels and personality types.

Skills Required:
Education Level:
Top academic credentials with relevant and proven post-qualification experience.

Required Experience:
• Knowledge of the 2011 GMRA required;
• Understanding of structure and function of repurchase transactions (what the transactions are, various structures and purposes for entering into such trades);
• Understanding of trade type relationship to repo documentation as drives balance sheet and reporting requirements;
• Working knowledge of regulatory issues, particularly in relation to securities lending in various markets;
• Experience with deadlines and time management/complex project organization; and
• Law firm or in-house position focusing on repo/GMRA. Emphasis on expert drafting and negotiation skills. Preferably employed by or seconded to a bank in a documentation or transaction management role.

Essential Skills:
Excellent written and oral communication skills;
Excellent people skills (will interface with people who have varied skill levels);
European language skills would be helpful;
General comfort with Technology (particularly Microsoft Word, any spreadsheets);
Quick learner - including learning internal computer systems; and
Ability to set, track, achieve and report on short/long term goals and projects
