Position Description:
Capital reporting lead managing a group of 4 FTE who are responsible for monthly external capital disclosures, daily business required capital reporting to ISG business units, weekly RWA management reporting to senior management, daily ad hoc capital analysis, capital metrics and project lead for the strategic capital reporting tool build.
This is a key role in working with the business units to manage limited financial resources of the firm. Over the next year, there will be major changes in regulatory rule which will increase the amount of capital the firm needs to hold in support of ISG business. This role will work with the businesses to ensure transparency, drivers, variance analysis and alternatives for capital mitigation.
The candidate should have a regulatory background which includes an understanding of the Basel capital framework as well as reporting and consolidation experience.
Skills Required:
Knowledge of Basel Regulatory Rules, Capital Production or Reporting, Understanding of consolidation and elimination process
Skills Desired:
Basel 2.5 and Basel 3 knowledge
