Role description:
This position is responsible for supporting existing client relationships as well as researching and prospecting new clients in order to expand the use of iShares in the Swiss pension fund market.
Responsibilities:
- This sales position will be responsible for the development and execution of a detailed sales strategy with a focus on promoting the benefit and extending the usage of iShares in the Swiss pension fund market
- Contribution to the delivery of annual target of net new assets, generated from existing and new clients
- Prospecting for new clients to expand the usage of iShares within the market
- Development of targeted account plans
- This position will need to consistently provide local market intelligence to help guide new product development initiatives
- Responsible for complying with all regulatory and legal standards
- Contribution to the wider iShares business, particularly the product development pipeline, product management and marketing functions
- Strong collaboration and information sharing with other iShares and BlackRock sales teams globally
Skills and Qualifications:
- BA/BS graduate in related field, MBA or CFA preferred
- Experience in selling and managing relationships with institutional clients, existing network including pension funds and consultants is a plus
- Knowledge of the pension fund landscape in Switzerland
- The individual must be a self-starter, true team player, organized and entrepreneurial, and must possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- High energy, motivated individual, with a commitment to excellence
- Fluency in German and English is required for the role, French and Italian are an advantage
