ISP Project Manager

The successful candidate must possess skills that enable them to lead a team responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining the infrastructure supporting a large variety of applications performing a wide range of functions required to maintain an ISP business in a network operations environment. The incumbent will be also responsible for planning and executing migration activities to standardize ISP service delivery platforms.

Duties to include but not limited to:
-- Lead a team of engineers to support ISP Applications (eg: DNS, email, AAA, personal hosted web pages), operating systems, and hardware
-- Strong project management skills to lead migration activities
-- UNIX / Windows/LINUX system administration knowledge
-- Utilize ticketing system to resolve reported issues/requests
-- Monitor performance
-- Monitor capacity
-- Monitor availability and health
-- Standardize environment
-- Work with other internal groups utilizing platform
-- Provide detailed technical feedback
-- On-going administration of system
-- Monitor and maintain environment to guarantee it remains robust and secure
-- Utilize backup and restore strategy for environment
-- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation on platform
-- Install (Jumpstart) and configure hardware / OS
-- If necessary, interact with HW support vendor to resolve HW issues
-- Apply OS updates, execute configuration changes, and provide system tuning
-- Serve as an escalation point for resources working in a 24x7 on-call rotation
