Working directly on application / technical problem identification and resolution, including off-shift and weekend support functions. Participating in integrated testing and user acceptance of application or infrastructure components. Working with vendors on the integration of purchased application(s) and/or infrastructure. Designing and implementing processes, or process improvements, to aid in development and support.
Education/Experience: Computer-related or Engineering-related four year College or University Degree (or equivalent). Progressively responsible IT job-related experience. A minimum of 2 years experience in COBOL Programming: DB2, Batch On-Line programming, subprograms, Copylibs, DB2 Stored Procedures, and Changeman. Mainframe batch processing using JCL and JCL Procs. Strong problem solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks. Strong interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills. Ability to understand complex problems
