IT Analyst

Description Research and develop controls to manage IT Risk. Develop and conduct risk assessments related to IT governance. Perform user access reviews for IT administered applications. Perform Sarbanes-Oxley self assessments for IT department. Coordinate audits and exams. Coordinate meetings and tasks related to BCP and Information Security planning and testing. Essential Duties: ?Research and develop appropriate controls to manage IT risk. ?Develop and conduct risk assessments for IT projects, information security program, and BCP planning. ?Oversee customer information repository inventory and risk assessment. ?Perform annual profile and user validations for the core system and any other systems managed by the IT department. ?Perform Sarbanes Oxley self assessment testing for IT department controls. ?Monitor employee internet activity for compliance with acceptable use policy. ?Maintain IT department procedure manual. ?Coordinate annual FDIC IT exam, IT portion of financial statement/Sarbanes Oxley audit, internal audits, and other examinations affecting the IT department. ?Coordinate Business Continuity Plan (BCP) planning and testing events. ?Coordinate Information Security Team meetings and testing. ?Participate in various team and committee meetings as needed to provide IT governance perspective. Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's Degree in IT, MIS, or related area preferred. Skills and Knowledge: 1-3 Years IT Support experience preferred ? familiarity with access management is highly desired ?General understanding of access management, information security and/or systems change control concepts ?Knowledge of IT systems and functions a must ?Banking knowledge and experience highly desired ?Strong interpersonal skills necessary to explain complex access management concepts to managers, employees and executives ?Creative problem solving and technical skills for refining existing theories and/or developing new approaches ?Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with employees, managers and executive officers (verbal written). Good listening skills ?Detailed analytical ability to understand sophisticated programs/systems/techniques for resolving access management problems Office Environment ? no specific or unusual physical demands.
