IT Application Support APAC (12-month Agency Contract) recruitment

Our client is a major retail corporate bank with a worldwide presence. They are looking for a IT Application Support, APAC to be based in Hong Kong, to support and continuously improve the system. 

The role will aim to support and integrate Corporate, Financing and Capital Markets applications for the Bank in Asia.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 2 support to level-1 Support IT teams and to end-users

• Integrate Corporate and Capital Markets applications to the Bank environment

• Offer efficient support on trading applications

• Coordinate with local and head office development teams to release applications in appropriate environments

• Develop and maintain tools to enhance the end-user service level and facilitate support tasks

• Write and update Information System documentation and procedure

• Update and maintain user’s incidents and production changes

Requirements:

• Very skilled in scripting and web languages (Perl, Python, PHP, Javascript, AJAX, Web 2.0, Web services) and have a good knowledge in development standards and object programming.

• Familiar with production best practices and processes (i.e. ITIL) and keen to follow, create or enhance production procedures.
