IT Assistant Manager – Asset Management recruitment

Role Responsibilities

• The IT team supports all of the investment and operations systems used both in the UK and overseas but is relatively small, giving the opportunity for the applicant to gain experience in all aspects of IT as their career progresses

Assist the CTO in management of all vendor and underlying application management including; vendor account management, contract management, application user support, documenting procedures, BCM/DR, due diligence, application lifecycle, invoice processing and purchase orders

• Support and development of the Company’s essential business applications, in particular the core investment processes relating the Company’s modelling, trading and settlement.

• Assist the CTO in identifying a roadmap for all business applications to ensure that the firm are using the most effective platform and version of each software package within that platform, to provide a plan showing how the Company will implement and manage the application lifecycles going forward.

• Additionally the role will work closely with the CTO to manage vendor relationships as well as implementing comprehensive and transparent IT management information covering all aspects of software, hardware and services.

Background Experience

• Strong oral, written and presentation skills

• Professional, naturally enthusiastic and hardworking approach

• Technical skills could include an understanding of MS SQL or .NET.

 This role may appeal to those currently working within Consultancy, who have an IT Audit background and are specifically looking to make the transition into Asset Management
