I am working closely with a very well known blue chip company in the FMCG sector. A new position has become available within their Audit and Assurance team. The Audit and assurance team are responsible for independent assurance of how risk is being managed across the company. As an IT audit Manager your focus will be auditing the risks related to the protection of all electronic information in the company. This also encompasses major programmes of work such as SAP implementation.
You will report directly to the IT Audit Director, and be supported by 5 other Audit Managers. You will typically be leading engagements, and teams of 3-4 people, though this will vary depending on the scale of each assignment.

- You will provide strong leadership to ensure that audits deliver fit-for-purpose, risk based assurance that is responsive to the business risks and risk environment.
- You will also collaborate with colleagues across AA division to ensure a holistic consideration of risk and business context is always adhered to.
- You will ensure that audits are delivered to the highest level of quality, and are conducted efficiently, maximising team productivity.
- You will support the evolution AA assurance strategies and related audit universe entries.
- Consider the 'big picture' and multiple perspectives on audits to identify the most important issues, prioritise work and make decisions accordingly.
- Demonstrate a flexible approach to work, rebalancing priorities where necessary and solving problems creatively.
- You should be action orientated and effectively manage potential obstacles and hidden problems that may compromise timely delivery, or quality of the audit.
- Continually seek to improve your knowledge or subject matter expertise to enhance the level of assurance provided.
- Actively work to expand the knowledge base within broader AA team through proactive knowledge sharing and collaboration.
More About the Requirements
- CISA/ACA/CPA/CISSP Qualifications are preferred
- Candidates should be CISA Qualified as minimum!
- Have a MINIMUM of 6 years IT Audit Experience
- Have previous experience of working with FMCG Companies (either External or Internal Audit)
- Have knowledge of Risk based auditing models eg IIA, COSO
- Lean Sigma experience
- SAP Experience
- Business Risk Experience
