IT Audit Manager - Financial Services - competitive salary package

This leading ASX listed organisation is renowned for its stable work environment and strong leadership vision. The Internal Audit team has a fantastic environment that attracts high performing staff due to a strong brand in the market, opportunities for promotion into the business as well as allocating staff on to a range of audits ensuring they have a broad product knowledge. Due to growth, they currently require an experienced IT Auditor to join their team in a leadership capacity.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Developing the audit scope, budget, audit testing and resource requirements including delegation and management of junior team members
- Conducting and/or participating in the initial audit meeting alongside Senior Management
- Development of audit papers and risk controls matrix
- Preparation and review of draft audit reports
- Staff management and mentoring including on-the job training as well as presentation of formal training sessions
To be successful in this position you will require proven experience within IT Audit and ideally come from a technical IT background (experience in Security would be highly regarded). You will have had proven experience in direct staff management and be willing to take part in audits from both a hands on and management perspective. You will require exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders. There will be some travel to capital cities involved with this position. A competitive remuneration package + bonus will be offered for the successful candidate.
