IT Audit recruitment
Our client, a Banking Organisation based outside London, is currently recruiting for an IT Audit Professional to come into the team on a 6 month contract.
Our client is looking for a candidate to come into their team on an initial six months basis. The ideal candidate should have good exposure across IT infrastructure tools with a focus on Oracle and Unix, and experience within retail banking.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Participate in the planning and scoping of allocated audit assignments
• Identify key risks and associated controls, and obtain, analyse and appraise audit evidence to form an objective, informed opinion on the adequacy and effectiveness of the control environment.
• During and at the conclusion of an audit, discuss control weaknesses with staff and management and identify and recommend practical, cost-effective corrective action to improve controls.
• Conduct all audit work within allocated time budgets and in accordance with the standards set out by the Bank.
Skills required:
• Relevant professional qualifications; CISA, CISSP
• Experience using Unix or Oracle
• Previous Working experience within Retail banking is preferable but not necessary.
