IT Audit Relationship Manager - Contract
An exciting and critical opportunity is now available to join this organisation, as an IT Audit Relationship Manager you will be reporting to the Audit Manager.
This role will be critical in reducing risks of unexpected financial loss and promoting control and efficiency across all business functions.
Successful applicants will be joining a highly engaged and motivated team and will be responsible for managing relationships with key stakeholders and a broad range of assignments.
This work will involve examining and critically assessing IT controls, testing for control deficiencies and advising management on process and control improvements.
Responsibilities will include:
- Lead, manage audit assignments to examine, document and test IT controls and systems.
- Provide a clear, authoritative, independent assessment of the management of IT risk and the adequacy and effectiveness of the systems of control in assigned audits.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with assigned business management teams.
- Contribute to preparation and completion of a programme of work for own relationship portfolio.
- Manage audit seniors / auditors on an audit assignment basis, including review of their work.
- Support audit team members in achieving their development goals and mentor and / or coach individuals, as appropriate operate to professional standards as part of a highly engaged and motivated team.
Experience Required:
The ideal candidates will have experience in information technology and some, if not all of the following characteristics:
- Broad level of experience across a range of technologies and processes (e.g., networking, IT security, operating systems, financial applications, change management) knowledge of IT risk management principles.
- Proven experience in managing, coaching, leading and developing individuals.
- Good project management skills and the ability to plan and manage projects with several staff.
- Capacity for independent thought and capability to hold own ground.
- Enthusiasm, initiative, drive, flexibility and the ability to relate well to a wide range of clients.
- Capability to analyse data and arrive at fair and balanced conclusions.
- A good understanding of auditing principles and practices.
- CISA Qualification.
The candidate may be required to undertake some travel for this role.
