An opportunity for an IT Auditor has arisen in one of the world's leading Interdealer Brokerage firms. Based in Central London the firm operates on a global scale with offices in the major cities of Europe, Asia and the Americas across multiple exchanges and asset classes.

Though the main responsibility is to perform all IT audit tasks in the EMEA Zone, the role provides a broad overview on the whole scope of the Group's IT environment, including those in the Americas and Asia-Pacific zones. It is anticipated that international travel will be approximately 20%-30%, depending on the audit cycle.

Key responsibilities:
* Perform all types of internal audits typically in the EMEA Zone, but potentially across the whole Group (travel is required);
* Select appropriate scopes and, on that basis, perform in-depth checks of procedures, ensuring they respect internal guidelines and best practices;
* Interact with firm personnel to provide/receive necessary information so as to ensure the timely completion of internal audits;
* Assess results, draft meaningful/reliable/independent audit findings and issue realistic/solid/value added recommendations for presentation to firm management;
* Prepare complete and accurate work paper documentation.
* Follow up on all outstanding audit findings to ensure they are appropriately resolved.
* Assist with the development of risk assessment/diagnostics, internal control evaluations, and other processes necessary to determine areas of risk or weakness that will contribute to the development of audit programs.
* Perform special projects and other duties, as assigned.
* Inform his hierarchy of any event that may have an impact on the Group.
* Maintain a professional and independent image for Internal Audit across the Group.

Candidate requirements:

* Proven experience in IT or in IT related areas (such as IT consulting).
* Knowledge through education or experience of IT organizations, IT main activities and roles, IT main risks, systems and infrastructure lifecycle management, IT service delivery and support, IT governance, IT Security Management, business continuity and disaster recovery.
* Knowledge through education or experience of complex IT concepts such as IT production, IT security, networking, operating systems, data management (databases) and development practices.
* Proficient in common desktop applications (Excel, Access, Word, Visio, etc.).
